I put this hdmi port to the test so I could truly see if the flex ribbon could do it. Since I destroyed pads and vias I had to test with hdmi breakout tool to test each pin. The little capacitor that they moved helps so much because that’s where I make mistakes if pins bridge or aren’t soldered fully. This repair if followed correctly will fix your problem guaranteed. I bought a trace repair kit because I had 11 broken solder traces on my PS5. I tried using enameled copper wire, but the results weren't great, so I ordered a kit. Dealing with customs was a bit of a hassle, but once the product arrived, it was easier to install than soldering 11 new traces; with the capacitor in place and the pins soldered down, the video output works perfectly now.
